You said how you were expecting unhappy readers at how Charlie was handled, and though I was expecting him to go away for a long time, I actually agree with how you handled him. He obviously had problems, and he got the help for that eventually... it's just a shame that happened a little too late. His guilt over killing his own daughter and son-in-law must be sooooo hard to live with. That's punishment enough, I think.
