ok this is so cute...i actually hope they end up together in the end. it would be like a slap in the face to some readers and the other suitors but it would kinda end the fanwars on who is better for sakura. i mean why not choose the most crackship ?

I thought Sakura was supposed to be the opposite of the noble women. She should have been strong in both personality and physically but you made her meek. It's annoying.

Dammit, I missed Shikamaru.

He was the first one to meet her, the first one to get attracted to her looks, first one to befriend her in the palace, and someone she hangs often around to the point they are close friends. Shikamaru's confusion regarding his feelings and her friendship with him is the current issue in their arc. It's so like him to prioritise their friendship and feel unfit the competition for her heart. He is the only one of the suitors to try anything with her – even a hand kiss. It's easy to root for him.

Shi, Shikamaru, Sasori and Itachi seem ideal.

One hell of a ride! I loved this story to death, especially portrayals of Yagura and Shi.

I fell in love with Shi and Sakura interactions– so my preferred endgame would be them. Shi has loved her since she was a child and a commoner which makes him more genuine as far as his feelings goes. His joking, confident also sincere attitude easily makes him the best guy in this timeline. Even in any other setting, the fact that Shi is also a medic nin and sensor type shinobi makes him so shippable with Sakura. The two ship themselves naturally. IT IS A BONUS THAT HE IS SO EASY ON EYES TOO.

Yagura is one of the rarest ship in the Multisaku fandom. I've only read one YaguSaku fic in this site that is well-written and engaging. And I've tried looking for more too, no luck though. Yagura in this story is fun, bold and cute all the same. They are cute, but mostly in siblings way and him developing siscon lmao! He is one of my favorite characters in this story.

I loved team7 dynamics. I hope they will bag the top positions in the competitions and be revered for it. Sakura, a princess but also a fighter, will add more personality to her and more interesting character than she already is. I wonder though, why she couldn't put her mountain breaking strength to use. Is it not possible in this timeline?

I stan UchiSaku, but in this particular story, I'm not investing in any ship. Itachi and Sakura dynamic, while generally interesting, lacks the punch and interactions here because of which I cannot see them getting together. I know they have interacted, but in background which...doesn't highlight their closeness. Shisui and Sakura are more or less acquaintances and relax buddies. Madara is an interesting character, dark and powerful but also lax and caring in his own twisted way. But there's hardly any earnest interaction there suggesting his growing feelings except perhaps sexual tension because of his specific beauty and possessiveness.

Gaara's sadistic nature is, simply put, hot and gripping. It suits him more than the proper kazekage personality. You're not M, or even if you are for writing that one out, we love it so DO IT. I wish there had been more interaction suggesting the tension between them though, something more profound and obvious.

Pein is OCC in a way that it isn't The Leader but is the sweet, kind if a bit stern Yahiko. Which is adorable.

Sasori is observant, serious, too-beautiful-to-be-real and humble. He is the kind of person whom Sakura, based on her past experiences and her motivations, can fall in love with in the current scenario. The ideal guy.

Deidara, on the another hand, is a playboy and someone Sakura will avoid at all costs. I don't blame her, I would avoid him too. Handsome, but a notorious bad boy. I want to know how someone like Deidara can see her in a light that is not tinged in lust.

Neji's development is remarkable. He is very hard to write, emphasis on very. But you did a decent job; straight confrontation and lack of emotional attachment over the ordeal is like him. And the passionate speech that Sakura gave in return made him see the mistake in him, and in the society. I want to see more of Neji, especially how he would apologize to Sakura.

Could it be, LeeTen is a possibility here? I could have sworn she felt disappointed when Lee expressed his love for Sakura. Naruto's puppy love for Sakura is endearing but I want HinaNaru happening with the aid of Neji and Sakura to further their relationship.

Something tells me Madara is the endgame you've set. And I'm against it for a change. Because of several better characters.

So here's my vote – Shi, Sasori, Itachi, Madara, Yagura, Pein, Neji, Gaara and Deidara. In the order of best to nope.

How did I not know about this little gem of a story beforehand? On top of being beautifully written, I absolutely love everything about this, from the characters and their interactions to the ancient Chinese AU. I am so torn between rooting for suitors that I can’t decide! I’m caught somewhere between Itachi, Pein, and Shikamaru, with Shi running up right after. I really look forward to Sakura’s interactions with these boys and all future friends and allies she may make (particularly the Sannin interactions). I eagerly look forward to your next update!

Its been a while, but i love rereading this fic! All of the princes are interesting and i love how oraginc characters feel interacting. Bamf Sakura is also my favorite fic genre.
