It seems you've forgotten a huge chunk of Dean's character in your vendetta against John. Dean would never feel immediately comfortable about losing his humanity, NEVER feel okay with murder, never EVER stoop to ideas of humanity as a whole being inferior. It's like you've ripped out the heart of his character just to make him a useful mouthpiece. Sometimes you need to realize that characters are not a good fit for what you want to say, and you need to use the narrative instead of their mouth. You need to understand that just because John taught him these things doesn't mean they're not an authentic part of Dean's character. As the child of an abusive father myself, this attitude of rejecting most of Dean in order to reject his father is sophomoric.
