That actually makes a lot of sense given the context of this story. Nice theory.

It occured to me that Pokemon don't make good parents, at least according to the universe of this fic (almost the whole team was either abandoned or never saw their parents). It's as if Pokemon weren't supposed to be parents, yet some of them adopted the concept of parentship from humans due to its appeal (wow those humans are so caring, why aren't we?). But the harsh wild demands independence and self-sufficiency, as there are predators and alphas who just do whatever they want on their territories, be it murder or rape... So, if a pair of Pokemon are going to make kids, they most likely aren't planning to raise them. It is merely for reproductive purposes, to spread one's presence on this world. The child is left somewhere, to either survive by any means possible, or die... It is the Spartan method that hardens them, yet it can cripple them socially. Pokemon are somewhat solitary overall compared to humans, social creatures.

No offense bro, but seeing how max is treating his fennikin and bunnerea like they are fragile like glass is cringy and cliché af in chpt 8. Just saying, cause I really liked the take on gardeviour yhay what made the fic so exciting with smit and a plot line. Hope you can do something about max confidence

Hope you can find a way to improve max stamina without using scarlet physic as a hack to increase his lust. Overall this is a great fic, just finished chapter 7 want to see how this plays out.

Pretty solid chapter overall. Scarlet not being so murderous as she was in earlier chapters is a plus for me. Hopefully May and Aurora can successfully get their mega-evolutions. Please do keep up the great work.
