Beautiful. :) The 23 days thing was entirely surprising, but made perfect sense. Brilliantly executed. :) And I loved the " She was washing dishes. It was always like this when she called: she would do chores, he would concentrate completely on her." Very smart. That and the part about following Buffy's schizophrenic convos. I like how the story comes out of the difficulties and limitations of their relationship, rather than ignoring them in favor of a different story. :) Thanks.

i liked this story a lot, but im confused..is buffy dead in it, and angel was dreaming of their conversation? or am i just incredibly stupid...
