I just reread this again, and it's still as good as the first time through. The oncoming trainwreck that is Tamamo's seal replacement plan versus Minato's desperate need for her to stay has me vibrating in anticipation.

it is a true gem among the fanfics i've read so far

What interesting idea having influence within the story as the main character but still having the main character play his part which is ironic considering the MC 's in persona are perfect for a recarnated soul seeing as they'relate usually empty vessels for the player.

I definitely like the friendship between Minato, pharos and tam.
I do feel like most of the other social links are kind glossed over tho but it's cool ain't nothing wrong with a s.e.e.s centric fic.

I love the little changes especially with. Shinji and Ken nice to see that not ending in blood.

Oh and that persona q extra good shit.

I wonder tho while you have implied Minato can live abiet with some scarring, I was theorizing that tam would switch places with Minato being the seal.

Be tragically poetic a soul from another world protecting her new world while also saving her brother.

But idk if that's where you going with this.

I love the way you wrote both their perspectives. I really like the ground work you laid out for their personalities and the suppositions she made about how she ended up like she did. Minato’s thoughts towards his other are really cute as well. :)

Off topic cuz I didn't mention it in the last chapter but I think the best possible thing she can do to him is to be the one to sacrifice her life to stop Nyx so that Minato, the guy who really doesn't want to die, live. I mean, she mentioned before that their relationship is pretty unhealthy and maybe finally separating like this is the best way for Minato. Plus, that way she can "atone" for keeping this secret from him since he sorta hates her for that? Maybe then she can finally earn his forgiveness by taking his place? It's not like anyone else aside from Minato will really miss her. The only one to know she'd left is him- unless later on she's introduced to SEES lol, either way, it's either him or her and they'd probably pick her over their precious leader. It wraps things up well!

Oh god, I'm holding my breath for their eventual reunion. I'm sure this is the first time they've been so separated. He's coped with it through imaginary voices but our other main girl's blocked- not sure how it works but being alone in a dark, blocked mind doesn't sound very appealing. The silence would be unsettling and with silence comes a shit ton of negative thoughts. Not sure if that's how it's gonna be- LOL I HOPE THAT'S HOW IT'S GONNA BE!

God, I not so lowkey ship Minato with his Other and I hate myself for it. qvq I don't wanna set myself up for heartbreak but their relationship is so sweet even though they're co-dependent. Psychologically speaking, their relationship can be deemed as unhealthy but it's not like they can do anything about it since they're stuck with each other. At the very least they manage to make things it work and they respect each other's opinions and privacy! That part is pretty fuckin' healthy to me. The way the jump in each other's defense (metaphorically or physically) and worry constantly jdasdjaaa
