| GuestSun's Eye chapter 3 . 5/23/2016 I have no idea that your continuing "Of Mice and Jack"! Surprise Updates are always great, something to look forward to later in the day! This Chapter 3 reminds me of the other fanfics I've read about how other spirits and immortals view Jack as a Guardian, and before. I like the idea and image of the Guardians formal wear to the New Year's Party! Especially Queen Marie's outfit, it's ADORABLE, and elegant, Love the Picture in AO3! The reaction from the crowd and the party, even the snobby character Humphrey Goldleaf. I like it, man even that jerk Humphrey bind Jack to thorny vines, one of the scenarios I keep reading about Jack being picked on and looked down on. At least Bunny, and Marie, as well as her fairy mice court teach the jerk a lesson, by tying him up with magical thread and throw him out into the snow. Jack's right, wondering if maybe the world was better off with them not getting along, but at least they bond about protecting Jack from jerks like Humphrey.
