While I do like your story and your fantastic writing style I will share my personal gripes with it, the pairings between the RWBY team are totally unnecessary and detract somewhat from the story, on a similar note I find it very very hard to believe Yang, out of all people would be able to adopt the mentality needed for crack special forces like the SPARTANS, moreover I believe the UNSC would have some issues with the idea of inducting anyone from remnant into any classified programs. Otherwise your story, like all of your others is well written, organized and enjoyable.

If Ivan and Winter became ODSTs (wouldn't happen within allotted time frame), they would be quite hardened and callous already.
