Damn, this was a good read. Loved the interactions between Krystal and Fox. I think you got their emotions and reactions perfect. I'd get frustrated in the moment like Fox did if I was in the same situation. Well done!

Looks to me Fox now has a traveling buddy.

Krystal's mystery as well as beauty does seem to spark Fox's interest. Could she have read his heart as well? Fox's frustration can be understandable with how women can sometimes be just irrational.

Really liking the story so far! I think this chapter has a good pace and I like how you get a feel for the peacefulness of the background as well has the tension between the characters. I think maybe fox sighed a bit too much this chapter but I get that there's difficulties in communication and that they're exhausted too.

Can't wait for the next chapter!

I like that there's a practical reason for Fox and Krystal to team up. Doing so out of blind faith doesn't seem too reliable with them just only learning how to communicate.

Good to know that Krystal managed to find a way of speaking Lylat Basic now.

Long or short, it doesn't matter. As long as it is entertaining. I personally like longer chapters, but that also results in waiting longer for them to be released. You do whatever works for you. As for this chapter, it was fantastic. The way it was written was great and the events that took place were wonderful. I especially like how Krystal reacted to seeing her staff in Fox's hands. Especially when he handed it back to her the second time. Nicely done on this chapter!

I hope Krystal lets go of her anger at Fox and opens up to him once Slippy is finished with the translator. She embarrassed herself when asking about Cerinia.

This is a definete far cry from the version of *Krystal* in my version of Star Fox Adventures, who gleefully invites Fox to touch her.

Honestly, keep the course you've set. This is probably one of the better re-imaginings that I've read so far, and I can't wait for the next chapter

Hoo boy, Krystal has a hot temper and a delicate pride. Doesn't look like it will be that easy for her to try and understand Fox.

As far as chapter length goes, I usually aim for 5,000 words. That's good for a 30 minute read. Sometimes I go under and over by 1,000 or so, but I never hear any complaints about chapters being too long.

Given another story I'm following, I'd say 7,000 words is where you want to start wrapping things up quickly. In this case, having everyone making their way to camp together isn't a bad place to end the chapter.

Oof you really are having Krystal be more volatile than she normally is in canon huh? Its not a bad thing just shes always been the more level headed and admittedly flirty of the two foxes and I do understand your reasonings as to why but lordy your not allowing her to give Fox an inch are you? The language barrier also is not helping at all and is obviously making her angrier. This story really has me hooked but I'm hoping they start getting along better soon.

Great scene, I really enjoyed seeing Fox and Krystal's first interaction. It did not go the way I expected, but I loved it all the same.

You can't shake us off that easily my friend. I for one LOVE this fic and will stick too it till the very end! Keep up the damn fine work, I'm excited for the next chapter.
