Um.. Oh wow. Can't see that I expected this. I thought they were going to be friends..

My mind was BLOWN when I saw a new update to this story. I can’t believe it! You have no idea how surprised I was when I saw the notification.

Despite forgetting most of what happened, I still enjoyed reading this chapter. Your characterization is on point! My favorite moment has to be when Shiraishi got overprotective after seeing Jirou hugging Shizue, so he practically yanked her out of Jirou and into his own arms. ;) I also love the Hyotei regular’s reaction to Atobe being called “Monkey King” by Kintarou. My only minor complaint is that “Hiyori” should be “Hiyoshi.” (And is that a reference to your other fanfic, I see? How smooth! ;P)

This fanfic is like a hidden gem. There aren’t any good female OC Tenipuri fanfics nowadays, especially with Shiraishi as the main love interest. Since Tenipuri is one of the older anime series, there aren’t that many new fanfics about it (and most of the time, they’re yaoi). So please, don’t be too harsh on yourself. In the end you did the best you could on writing and publishing this chapter for us readers. You had the choice of completely abandoning this fic altogether, but you didn’t. You should be proud of yourself!

To be honest, I’m not a big fan of the shoujo genre as you stated how this story was going to be like, but I’m still going to read this fic! Even if you take another two years or so, I’ll still be waiting. What matters most is your health and happiness, so I don’t want you to force yourself to write something you don’t enjoy.

I know it's been a minute since you've updated this, but I'm s for the childhood friend trope- especially separated childhood friends! I really hope that you continue on with this story, I'm excited to see how you develop your OC's! I'm kinda rooting for Minami to be Shizue's new tsundere BFF, but I suppose I'll have to wait and see to find that out LOL

Minami Kaede is definitely a tsundere alright XD I love the scene with Shizue and Minami, it's so endearing and cute. Oh and the scene with Shiraishi as well. Nagamine is really well written OC and so is Minami. They're interesting and seem like they are quite similar in way that no one knows their true selves.

The 'voice' in this story is wonderful too. The way you write is really something that people should learn from. The words seems to flow so well and so is the grammar in the story.

I'm so glad I picked this story up! It is so interesting and definitely does remind me of a shoujo manga.

If it were to be made into a manga (which I would gladly buy), I bet it will be a real popular one cause it's not cliche and really relatable especially Shizue's self esteem issue. I just love the precious bond they have and hope it would develop further.
