My fav line this chapter:

And Tai finally appeared! He was awesome, as usual, owning the situation. Then he's like "Oh, yeah! Who are you again?" Lol

TK said a bad word XD Everyone's reaction was priceless. So looks like Tai made a friend in the past. It's sad he had to experience the Digital World on his own, despite (I'm assuming) having Agumon by his side. That faint glimmer of light has my interest peaked

It has me wondering if that went to Tai before he vanished, and Kari doesn't become a Digidestined in this universe, or if that was hers with the usual of her showing up later. Also, my fav part is when Matt started quiet when Sora and Mimi were annoyed lol

Hi! It's Renchan7 from Reddit! I'm loving the retelling of Adventure 01 so far. I never expected Tai to vanish that early and from his very first encounter. That was a creative twist. I laughed when Matt suggested wanting to fight Kuwagamon with a stick. Look where that got him lol I find this an interesting change with 6 characters instead of initially 7. I'm assuming Kari was sick, as usual, but we'll see! I especially can't wait to see how this group matures without Tai.

okay no offense but andromon is an ultimate hes stronger than devimon, most if not all of etemons army, and is just as powerful as etemon and datamon same with piximon

The beginning of this fic kind of dragged I admit, but getting this far in I can say with certainty that when they get to server things certainly seem to pick up steam, very nicely done :)

I think my favorite part of this whole chapter (and definitely one of the best moments of this story) is Agumon kicking Tamer and Tamer's response.

Bittersweet ending though: Kari never forgot her brother, but not only did Tai forget, he seems to be just as happy not having any relationship with her. I often wonder how quickly someone would forget about themselves, even their name, if there weren't other people around.
Not a criticism towards you as the author, I think you did a good job showing just how tragic such a situation could be.

I must say you are really driving my imagination here crazy. I read this story again from the beginning to the end and with the additional Infos/glimpses we got from the sequel. In my head got the idea stuck: The Digimon Tamer is his name and for a reason because it indicates a direct/indirect link to the Digimon Tamer Season, both, Koromon and Tai without memory and name at this time, have agreed to undergo a experiment/procedure which likely they shouldn't have survived and this procedure probably linked them directly to each other because they took data from Koromon and gave it the boy and reversed and in addition the boy became a half-breed, he became Data and an Ancient. And that will make it possible for them to Bio-Merge because Season 3 was in my opinion famous for its Bio-Merge Digitation. And that would also explaining why the Ancients would "fear" if they both would survive it because they would create a force to be reckon with but would he be an great ally or "foe" at that time it wasn't ensured. The future will tell if I was near or miles away from the truth. Nethertheless this is one of many good qualities of this story/saga when it inspires, drives your imagination crazy etc. Keep up with that good work. It's every time a pleasure to read more and more from this fantastic story/saga.

Anyway, Tamer must really like adventuring in a duo. Seems nice. I genuinely enjoyed this story. Can't wait to start reading part 2 about 15 seconds from now.
