I was up late last night, and was watching Captain Planet - remembering how much I liked it, even with all it's hippie cheesiness, so I sought out fanfics. Heh. Angsty Cap! I like that. I don't really like songfics, so.. the posting at the end threw me off, yet, at the same time, I like how you just had that at the end rather than through the fic.

Wondering about Cap... if he feels animals that are killed by humans, does he feel anything when humans die? For that matter, does he feel it when animals die by other animals? (Nature is full of brutal predation, once you get to know it, you learn that it's not a touchy-feely world). Just wondering.

You read mine, i read yours. I really liked the story, it follows an idea I've always belived in. . Hope you came close to enjoying my story as much as I did yours... And beware the idea of sequels

I've only seen a few episodes of Captain Planet . . . I didn't know where he went when he wasn't with the Planeteers, I didn't know about half of the references . . . but all in all, it really didn't matter. The meaning of this came through even without the background knowledge.

I really like this story. It seems realistic to me. I could picture Captain Planet saying this . . . poor guy . . . I feel sorry for him . . .
