I hope the girl will be able to break his emotionless state a bit like... It's reds character .. kinda? But it's a bit much for him to just be totally void of all emotions makes it kinda harder to connect with the character ya know? Not saying this is bad (honestly one of the best Pokemon fanfics I've started reading in a damn while )

I dunno.. This started out with a serious, badass ash. But as time goes he seems to be turning more and more into canon ash, and acting like a dumb wimp. Especially during the battle with surge and the alcohol swab. Tears in his eyes, really? Pathetic.

Kiddo, hate to break it to you but Shiny Charmanders are yellow/gold not black. Shiny Charizard is black but Charmeleon and Charmander are yellow/gold

I honestly was not able to finish reading this chapter. The premise is somewhat interesting for the story and the fact that you tried to do world building is a step above many other stories but, their are so many typos.

This story has flow, pacing and the dreaded "told not shown" issue. They are common issues in many fanfictions but it is detrimental to the immersion as at least I keep being pulled out of the story.

Yeah, you can't even use capitals in somebodies name. You don't inspire much confidence. Pikachu also hated humans before Ash risked his life to save him. So...NOPE NOPE NOPE.

Will you do all the regions? Quite a few of ash’s strongest Pokemon are out of region will you include them?

red not getting a charmender made me paise dude. im not really reading about ash as the anime did a piss poor job of that already. pikachu was chosen because the creators wanted a cute fluffy pokemon as a mascot for the series. its an average pokemon. would have been much better if he got a pokemon thats rare to find like the three main starters.
