I should have know. A story title named after Byron was going to be so well thought out and original. I loved it, beautiful slow burn, the OC is so relatable and fits in with these characters we love so much. I wish we could have one more closure, happy ending that I think these two deserve so much. I also know it’s a slim chance you will see this, but I hope you come back to us! I binged read this in a little less than two days. So lovely, truly one of my favorites now. ️

I know it has been a long time since you updated but I still hold out hope one day you will. I miss this story.

Honestly, one of the BEST Bucky story ever! I have read over hundreds of story and of that great amount, this story is at the top 1%? 5%? of the best of the best that I have come across. It was sweet beyond a mouth full of aching teeth. So heartbreaking and so lovely. I really don't have words that could do you justice. Honestly I don't know how you do it, but *claps* for your big talented mind and whatever it was that inspired this.

My most favorite thing about this work, is Bucky. I am amazed by how you portrayed him, a lot have fallen flat or focused too much on one side of him (making him boringly one dimensional). I mean I am no die hard fan, but I know enough to know that there should be great appreciation given to the efforts that you went through to craft him here. The angst and inner turmoil was so relatable and extremely heartbreaking. Your belief or the reader's that he has good in him is strong and incredible. She is a great partner for him and I believe is crucial to his recovery. Neither right nor perfect, but both impossibly imperfectly perfect for eacj other. I love how you smoothly transformed him little by little, no rush, smooth flow, and your descriptions for details are just astounding. Never over done or outrageous. The way you have written him finding himself and (re)developing his personality is just amazing. Your attention to details and the switch in POVs makes me feel like I am watching all this with my own eyes instead of reading it. You have done a great justice to Bucky and it was a pleasure to see him through your eues.

You write incredibly well, I can hardly find any faults in your plot, grammar, or flow that distracts from the wonderful story that you have created. The sexy times and fluffiness are done to perfection. Excuse me for my lack of variety of words. I just can't seem to find enough to do you justice. Anyways...where was I...oh yeah I love the deep emotional meaning wrapped all up in them instead of...they fucked. They may have not been necessary, but with the way you have written them, they feel like they are essential to their journey and are that much more meaningful and tasteful. I am so lucky to have stumbled across your story. I have thoroughly enjoyed what you have posted thus far. I hope that you will someday come back and finished what you have started. Steve and Sam? Genius ans kinda fitting. I realky want to see them all make it back safe and sound. I also want to see Bucky make a honest woman outta her and perhaps parenthood may be in their future? Oh one could only hope. Either way, my point is this is a beautiful tale and it would be a shame for it to stall as is. Thank you so much for sharing. 3 3 3

Really great story! Love the banter between Bucky and Reader, real smooth and had me giggling the entire time. You’ve done a good job capturing the other characters. I’m so ready for more of Sam/Steve too! Thank you and can’t wait for more :)

Was rewatching Winter Soldier for the millionth time, and it made me think of this. It’s still my favorite, and I’m still patiently waiting for the next update. Especially after that little San/Teve teaser.

And I have to say, you capture Sam’s personality and warmth very well.

He absolutely cannot pull that "Leaving you for your own protection" thing. I mean, he said himself even if he leaves her, Hydra will come back anyway. Ugh, I am so worried about what he's going to do in response to this. It's not his fault! This was a fantastic chapter, if you can't tell by how worked up I am over it.

Wow, that was action-packed! I'm always proud of the OC when she doesn't just stand there needing rescuing. She definitely fought hard. And I'm really glad that Bucky didn't run away at the end and that his home was with her.
