Oddly, I find this pairing completely possible even w/o considering their respective ages.

I should've asked last chapter but what exactly are you going to do for D rank missions since capture Tora is the most popular an yet you've apparently given Naruto a cat named Tora lol. Also a minor correction to your authors note it's not learning the wrong element to your affinity it would be learning something different from your primary affinity, by saying wrong affinity you're making it sound like the one that opposes their natural affinity. I think aside from Kakashi being a lazy bastard who's in love with the Uchiha (in canon) the reason he was unable to teach Naruto any wind jutsu's is due to the fact that it's stated that it's harder and more chakra consuming for someone to learn something that goes against their affinity. In the case of Sasuke and Kakashi that element would be wind as it counters lightning, so while Kakashi probably did copy some wind jutsu it took to much chakra for him to do especially since that Sharingan is constantly draining a small amount of chakra when not in use

I kinda feel that you should change Meixing into TenTen as that would probably work better as TenTen as far as we know had no family in canon. I don't really care it's up to you but it's just a suggestion

Great chapter. The only thing I have to add is the fact that even if these genin extras were place holders it would have been better if they all had Japanese names or other Asian names, it just very unlikely that someone parents in the Naruto-verse would name their child Mike Tyson or Evander Hollyfield, that said I can see their third teammates name being possible. Another reason is that they draw a lot attention to themselves for their exotic names, which is kind of counter productive when you want them to just extras. Anyways great chapter again and I look forward to next one, but one thing I am hoping is that Tsume action at the end of this chapter won't make Naruto and the gang any less brutal in their sparring matches.

Please continue this, it's freaking awesome so far. I love it!

Great start. I'm def liking the new fighting style for Naruto. Since Hiruzen knows all about Naruto and Hinata's training, I'm curious to see if he will put the two on the same team. Good job so far, and I look forward to the next update.
