This is a really great story full of unique ideas. You have got all the characters perfectly in character and my special favorite is Gwaine. I've never read a more perfect Gwaine. So fun! So entertaining and fresh. Well done! Thanks! You've made me smile many times over.

I'm pretty sure I've read this before, but it's so good: I'm reading it again! I think my favorite part is the dialogue. Your dialogue is really natural and funny. I love it.

i feel like i should point out if he was gonna let her in on the secret he might should've simply stopped time, picked her up and run...or just knocked everyone out with a blast of magic or something. he didn't need to be discreet or anything! that said, they liked to toe the line of what he could do on the show too, back and forth by making him powerful but then wait, they'd made him too powerful & then they'd act like he wasn't awesome anymore:) and he shouldn't need words to knock the guy out! that's another pet peeve of the show i still have years later...but exciting that gwen knows now!

well done with a twist that was properly set up, merlin's protection on gwen sufficient to save him too! and a temporary reprieve, though i'm sure we haven't seen the last of the bad guy...
we kind of accept that gwaine and arthur might find themselves on opposing sides of the 'merlin has magic' question, but i think you handled it very well. gwaine unsure of arthur's reaction as yet, rejecting arthur's help (can the reader glimpse arthur's concern?) and arthur not pushing it.
(and gwaine and lancelot. :D lol. you know?)
and. love arthur's reaction. bottom line, how do we fix it. need merlin back, no matter what else happens after that. can't lost merlin. :)
