Hmmmm. . . Nice and sweet. Fluffy with a touch of smut. There's plot but it's not overbearing. It does well in focusing on the relationship between Hiccstrid rather than further complicating it with other things, such as through the Eret phone call (that's not to say that stories that do complicate things are bad, just that I felt that that wasn't the point of this). It was short, but not a bad short. Not too short(as in like 1-3 chapters*) and not too long(as in like 30-40 chapters**). I enjoyed reading it, and would like to say thank you to the author for writing it.

* This isn't to say that 1-3 chapters isn't viable, but generally things like that fall into the realm of one-shots, mostly without enough room to develop characters and plot

** Similarly to the previous note point 30-40 chapters isn't bad, but at that point you have a decent amount of plot(just look at the eret phone call note) and a growing quantity of character development (gotta keep things changing with the dynamic MCs)

One thing to keep in mind as a new writer is to never self-publish books, you always want a publisher. Your work will turn out better, you'll be more widely known, and from reading this fanfic you'll probably become quite famous. I'll look for your books, I hope it turned out as good as this fanfic did... if not better.

The last sentence is a big obvious for the lols but I love this fic, this is my 2nd... 3rd... Ive lost count time through and its amazing every time. I know you didnt base it solely off the movies but there are a few things that bugged me, like Astrids parents were never introduced as Astrids parents ( if I remember correctly) and Hiccup was taken care of since birth by his father that he didnt meet until the 9th chapter because everyone thought Valka was dead.
