Lovely story. I don't blame Gandalf for resuming his beautiful youthful appearance
once he reached Aman. He is immortal, like the elves, with or without the ring. After all, he no longer needs to disguise himself as an old man in order to be accepted by the other races.

Interesting point about those rings aging their wearers. They probably had the same effect on Galadriel and Elrond - especially Elrond, as he used his to both protect Imladris and as a Healer.

I don't think that anyone needs to fret about Prima Girl stealing other authors' stories anymore, as she finally seems to have been removed from the FanFiction site... unless, of course, she has simply changed her penname.

[...with the choice of immorality before me...] says ThugLife-Boot-throwing-Elrond. Because who needs morals when you can be gangsta?

I can't imagine Gandalf as young (or looking young). At all. It's either old or amorphous (or whatever form is the Maiar default). Him as elf? ...no, really can't see it.

This was interesting. As much as we take it for granted that Elrond and Gandalf know each other, we sometimes forget (or at least I sometimes do) that they have known each other for centuries.
I found a wonderful picture recently depicting Gandalf both old and young, it was rather fascinating.

Someone sent me a message stating I placed a review on a stolen story. I did the research and sure enough this story was posted on Oct 16th by TolkenScribe. On Nov 8th, the same story was re-posted by Prima Girl. Either TolkenScribe is posting under two names, but why? or someone is stealing her material. I will do my part and try and expose Prima Girl. I thought this problem of stealing was fixed, so either someone took a lot of time to rewrite or has access to TolkenScribe's material.

Lovely. I particularly like the part where Elrond reflects on the contrast between Mithrandir's current form and his form as Olorin, and the fact that the smile is still the same.

I am not sure if, being in Elrond's boot and with the other in my hand, I would had thanked Gandalf for messing with my mind. I might had thrown the other boot ...

You surprised me with Olorin taking upon the form of an elfling.

1. It sounds like it might be possible, but I'm not sure.

2. If it does have any power, I don't think that it would have any effect on a Sith or Dark Side user, but a Jedi or Padawan might "hear" "whispers" of the Dark Side trying to turn them.

3. Good question. I don't know. What might help, is that I know that the leader of the Death Watch during The Clone Wars had some kind of lasersword, called a darksaber I think. This darksaber was in the hands of Darth Maul a few episodes to a season or so later.

What you could do is see about Jedi holocrons.
