I just found this story and so far, so good. Interesting concept. I'd like to see where you're going with this. One question though-where is Ranger? You have him being one of the main characters and I didn't see that you've even so much as said he was in the wind. If you have and I just missed it, sorry. But you should think about either having Steph thinking about him being in the wind or have her state as much again when speaking to the readers. Thanks for sharing and I hope that you update soon.

Thanks so much for the update as I have been waiting for it. This is a good chapter to show how Hector came to be who he is. As much as I would like Emmanuel to just say no to marring Hector I have a feeling he will be killed by the way you ended this chapter. I know you said earlier that there will be 10 chapters and I do hope it is. Please have Ranger come back soon before Joe does something stupid to Steph and have a happy ending for her and Ranger.
