I like the chat between Roy and Elicia. The only thing that weirded me out was mentioning Gracia was dating. I really don't see that in her nature. She was utterly devoted to Maes and she'd never really truly feel comfortable with anyone else.

Dang, I think it's the crimson alchemist. Oh gosh he got regressed he's gonna explode them all.

Poor twist. I'm gonna see if I'm right with my guess.

Holy smokes, this was an emotional read and not just because of all the feels either. I've read both of these stories and I loved how you seamlessly wove them together while maintaining the individuality of each piece. So reading this last chapter was all kinds of hard because, let's face it, you really get the essence of the characters and you make their mishaps and situations so enthralling to read. It's thought provoking but not to the point where you're hammering the concept to death. Just well written all around.

So, with that said... The last chapter *sigh*

It's been a journey, especially Mustang's. Even as he regained control, the battle to preserve his sense of self was hard fought (and not without its casualties- the thought of Chris fading just tore my heart out). In the process, he finally figured out that coexisting with Chris simply meant to accept that Chris was the culmination of his potential. You did a phenomenal job at conveying that and, really, the scene between Roy and Izumi...the feels were near overwhelming. A true testament to finally accepting his reality.

You rock out every story you write, so absolutely, I'll be right on tap to read the next adventure.

You made me cry a little during this chapter, dangnabbit.

I have to admit, this chapter snatched at my heart strings as I knew it would. I was wondering how the visit would go ( I thought there were going to be some fireworks, especially since Izumi just cannot stand the military), I'm glad, however that it went the way it did. What did surprise me though was Chris' dejected feelings; sure, he was doubtful of his place in this but I didn't think he would begin to falter as much as he did. He's a pretty strong willed individual but I suppose when faced with such a multitude of differing perceptions, anyone could be caught in the middle. I'm glad though that he has such a strong support system. It would be a shame if Chris were to disappear without knowing just how folks really feel about him.

*sigh* I know this is quickly coming to an end but I've enjoyed reading this and I'll definitely miss the updates.

I think you're doing a fine job at maintaining the demarcation between Roy and Chris (but I could definitely see where it could get a little hinky). I do love that you're giving them equal time and I have to admit, a big smile split my face when Roy said "Maybe one day even I'll call her mother as Colonel Roy Mustang". It would be something that would resonate with both Izumi and Chris as it serves as an example of Roy accepting all of Chris and the experience.

I'm going to miss this when it's gone but I do love it just the same.

This was certainly an action filled chapter and you pulled it off deftly. I knew I had a bad feeling about Crimson- I just want to know what Kimblee eluded to when he chastised Dr. Hamilton. I am, though, extremely glad that Roy's back and that he's not letting the issue of Chris rest. I mean, it's just like him to consider others before himself( especially if he believes that he can fix it- it seems as if he's come up with a pretty good solution too).

I can't wait to see where this path will end.

I'm so happy they got to see him when he came back. I thought he was going to save the day but there would be no interaction shown in the fic. So we wouldn't get to see them see him again. That might have been confusing... I'm just happy he's back.
