Good day to you! I have to say, this fic is neatly written. Just when I thought that the fic is going to turn to great OOC, you manage the plot very well. It's probably bec you understand each of the characters a lot.

I love this! The two of them were sweet and yet somehow in character at the same time. I read a few of your other stories too and I think you capture Kagura's character really well :) I also liked your reference to Mitsuba's spicy snack at the end.

Omg! This was so beautiful I love it! It feels like this has actually happened right after Mitsuba Arc (in which Sorachi-sensei denied us the happiness to see some Okikagu interaction in that very important period of Sougo's life) that I didn't get to see on-screen because this was edited out. XD
My imagination is running wild. I know this is just too much to ask for but please keep writing more Okikagu, thanks!

wonderful captures of both characters! some of my favorites are : 1) Kagura's 'beast inside" processing the opponent, acting as sources of both insight and bloodlust. 2) Okita's grief and humanity. 3) okita's description of kagura's many contradictions.

the fighting is written well and with care. for me esp bc i get things best when i can visualize it. and the scenes painted by this fic's prose are really enjoyable.

Man, I think you've managed to nail down the dynamics of their unique and special relationship perfectly here. There were some sentences that really struck a chord and left me gawking at them in awe, and the way you dealt with their emotions and issues and how they came to a mutual understanding and comfort was just so beautifully done.

I really enjoyed reading this so here's hoping you write more for these two idiots lol. Keep up the great work! xD

WOW. if i had to tell you the lone key sentence that pierced through my heart without any mean to heal it, it would be this one: "They lost their battles years ago"
I seriously cried there, because you wrote this, and i'm as happy as sad XD
but this is really emotionnal, and i thank you for this. The whole story is really kind despite the harsh descriptions, and i rrally love it the way it is. you did a wonderful job about depicting their SOULS, i'm not joking there. Also, i think i heard some Okikagu fans Squeals in the distance... Or maybe it was just me... Dunno XD
