Frogbutton chapter 17 . 9/24/2017 Heya! Loving the story so far! I just wanted to let you know that chapter 17 is a mess of code and really hard to read! I, and I'm sure other people stumbling across your fic, will really appreciate you sorting that out! |

Guest chapter 23 . 4/14/2017 I don't know if you've made a decision about restarting or continuing yet... I like the story you have so far honestly. It's really good. Only comment would be I wish there was a good cullen/ oc/ warden!Alistair story |
Guest chapter 12 . 4/8/2017 No... why no more Alistair? *stretches her arm out dramatically after his retreating form* come back... Don't leave me with serious Cullen... |
shlebs08 chapter 23 . 2/7/2017 You should definitely keep going with this story. It's nice to read something about an OC who fits into the story so well without completely taking over from the original hero of the game. I love the relationships that Eleanor has with everyone and it feels just as natural as the relationships between the Inquisitor and the crew in the game. You have something worth continuing here. If you want to continue from this story or make a part two, either would be fine. Just keep going! |
Skyrimlover123 chapter 1 . 3/7/2016 I am laughing my ass off because I am writing a fic with an Inquisitor Sophia. Found this by chance, now I'm staying to see what similarities our Sophias have. |

Gin-Ex-Machina chapter 1 . 10/23/2015 #Canonblind Hello good sir/madam, I'm simply here for the shorter review game. Now, I'll start by saying this: This review should NOT be taken as a indicator of one's writing skill, it's simply a thorough constructive review meant to address the flaws of the writer in general and allow said writer to work towards bettering those flaws. For anyone else reading this, you got a good writer here. He is at the very least ready to improve his writing at all costs. I'm sure he'll turn out to be great in the far future. [Opening] The first paragraph was a great opening that quickly caught my attention, especially through how the note was written, strong imagery popped in my mind with some of those particular words and made me quite interested for whatever is in store for this chapter. Whomever this Sophia may be, she certainly had quite a rough venture. A job very well done, SkadiAllTheTime. [Middle] What Immediately caught my attention (besides Eleanor's swearing) was how varied the the word count was during certain paragraphs. During the descriptions they are of nice reading weight (even though you do digress with needless information sometimes), and during faster parts they're about 3 to 4 sentences max (thus short and sweet), now that's how I love to see it. The grammar is completely fine, sometimes I noted that a comma was missing, but honestly I had to search quite a bit to find those. A point of critique though, you use italics to shift from one scene to another. I suggest you ditch that for the more common horizontal line break. It's much easier to denote a scene switch that way. Good sir/madam, while enjoy your usage of adverbs in this particular chapter. I suggest to tone them done in the future. I do not need to know that Eleanor combed her hair 'subtely', just indicating that she combed her hair was enough. Use adverbs in sparsity, it'll make your words much more powerful. The dialogue and characters are a joy to behold, I really like our protagonist, Eleanor. She had jaded, hardened and somewhat selfish view on the world, which a nice change from all the goody-two-shoes hero's from my fandom. Sophia is also quite the character and I enjoy her on-point attitude. [Ending] The ending was most likely the weakest point of this chapter. That isn't to say that it's bad, but unlike the opening it ended so... Mediocre. Really compared to the entirety of the chapter the ending fell quite short. I didn't hook me into reading the second chapter. [Final Thoughts] A very solid first chapter. I applaud you for your work, it looks like a lot of care went into the story and it certainly shows. Though I'm not interested into the Dragon Age fandom, I'm sure that you may attract a lot of fans of your fandom in the future. Keep writing, good sir/madam. |
