Ok. Seriously. You may think you're being 'quirky' when you intermingle japanese with english, but all it is is annoying. If i wanted to read japanese, I'd read the untranslated manga.

this is quite good, story-wise and you've written Shigure and Tohru very well, too. I hate how most people write Tohru in a very empty Mary Sue-like way. That scene at the end really got to the hearts of the characters.

Although I suppose there's no point in saying so, as many others have and you still haven't changed it...the Japanese words are a little annoying and unnecessary.

One thing I'm wondering is if Akito is manga-accurate, because it seems that you have Shigure written as he is in the manga...It would take away from the story if you simply throw Akito aside, so I hope there's some explanation there, at least.

You are such a good writer. I adore the intricate descriptions of the characters' thoughts and actions. You characterized everyone so well! Especially Tohru and Shigure. I never thought I would like this pairing, but this story really got the chemistry going between the two. Love it, love it, love it!

I laughed so hard in every chapter XD God, the little boy saying Shigure has "shifty eyes like the bad guys on TV anime." LOL! and the grocery...oh my god you're killing me!
