is this story ever going to progress in anything resembling a linear fashion? i love the story, the writing is great.

Whew! I'm having fun with all of these Gamer! stories. :) Just if we didn't have all of these omakes fluffing up the chapter count... ;)

However, the omakes do give a unique insight into possible futures, etc. It would be pretty cool to see a training montage- I mean... they have all of this money and they waste their time working out at a gym? Hell, get a weight set in the secret base and have Lisa tone up! I mean, hell, if in any given time line Lisa is able to bulk up, get faster, and learn more martial arts she should be able enough to escape from Coil's goons. That and she can learn the self-hypnosis and maybe even learn a skill on resisting torture. Considering torturing Lisa in various timelines before closing them off is something that Coil likes to do (in some fanfictions I've read anyways), it would give her some crazy insight when she wakes up one morning and realizes that her Self-Hypnosis is level 10 and her Torture Resistance is even higher! (Of course that's horrible to write, but I do believe she understands that she's probably getting tortured or drugged or raped by Coil for his personal amusement in some timelines where nothing happens... if only just to see if he can eke any more information out of her than he believe's she's letting on.

Wait, so Taylor gets basically all of the benefits of the Gamer? Skills and all? Isn't that a bit... unfair? I mean the MC has one power, the "Gamer", but like this Taylor has her own power plus whatever she can get from Gamer.

Also how can she even get skills? She doesn't have a gamer's body, would she keep them when she leaves the party?

Huh, that makes Bob's more Diner level than whackdonalds. Not sure if it matters, but it's an interesting choice.
