*starts slow clap* Wow. Just- wow. I LOVED this! I loved the father/son moments between Shawn and Henry, and I loved the mental image this caused of Shawn beating up on a punching bag Captain America style, and I loved the NCIS reference (BTW, I remember the quote but not the episode, if you could help with that...), and I loved his outburst at Juliet. I just loved all of it, so much.

So I read your fic a few months back but have just realised that I didn't leave a comment. Sorry about that.

Well that was rather emotional now wasn't it. I liked the short sentences, gave it a staccato feel, clipped - to the point but defining and well rounded too. made you feel the emotions one portion at a time with the reasons escalating in a way only the human mind and heart can comprehend.

I really enjoyed reading this. Well done!
