Wow, wow wow. I only discovered Bones in 2019 (how I missed it the first time round is beyond me). Having now watched it all at least twice I’ve been hungry for epic Bones ff to get my teeth in to. This is great. The perfect blend of angst, melodrama, deep characterisation and plot. Congratulations on achieving the rare feat in ff of managing to hold a story thread so very well over so many chapters whilst allowing room for the characters‘ inner worlds to shine.

The angst was just brilliant. To be able to spend so long unravelling the impact of the abduction and simulated rape on both b&B was so satisfying as a reader.

My favourite part was when there were lots of characters at the hospital, everyone had different perspectives on what had happened/was happening and there was miscommunication etc all over the place and you held that together so well. They were all in character. Would have loved to see more of Max and Jack but the story was so B&B centric it wouldn’t have made sense.

I note you’ve put an update re the sequel being on hiatus. If you ever return to it, you have a devoted reader here ready to devour it!

God, what an amazing story. This is one of those stories that I can't stop reading, but then it kills me when it's complete. I believe you have captured these two perfectly, actually the whole cast. Even Naji is now a Dav. But since B&B are my fav couple of all time, I always center on them. I could actually visualize this story playing out like a movie. God, how I hate that it's over. I see where you started a sequel, but can't bring myself to read it as badly as I want to. It's not complete & that would just kill me. So once again, you're writing is amazing. Hopefully some day you'll continue here:)

I discovered this story while searching another authors favs. I could not for the life of me stop reading it, not even to review, which is not like me when it comes to great stories. This story is amazing, a lot of angst, but still amazing. And then I got to this chapter here, & OMG, after all of this angst, you had me laughing uncontrollably out loud like an idiot. Their rules & Booths unhesitated veto? Could so easily picture this scene. Much needed respite. You are an amazing author!

I don't even know what to comment, I don't think I can truly express all the feelings raised by ur writing, so to put it in a nutshell let just say that I've been along the characters at every single moment of your story, suffering, crying, hoping, laughing, fearing, smiling,... You wrote a novel and you did it damn well!

Since you have written this story and are, therefore surely aware of how long it is, it seems kind of stupid for me to ask this, but do you realize that this is almost twice as long as the longest Harry Potter book? Do you? Holy shit!
I can honestly say that this is the longest fic I have read in my life, and it is so, so, so good! The characterization is on point throughout this whole thing and I never once had a moment of 'this seems weird'.
It was simply amazing through and through!
I love the way you handled the difficult subject of sexual assault, it felt very respectful and realistic at every point.
I am in awe of how you manage to keep track of where the characters are and never seem to get confused about details, or things mentioned before - in awe, I'm telling you! I also loved Naji, a lot. He felt very well-rounded and beneficial to the story!
Also, the fact that there are like no spelling errors anywhere?!
I just don't know what to say frankly - apart from I'm sorry I'm such a bad reader and just leaving a review on the last chapter. I've spent the last couple days in bed (flu) and this has been my saving grace.
So, thank you so much for taking the time to write this and put it up, it is just wonderful! And if you haven't been published already that's a real shame because this story clearly shows that you are an incredible writer.

Your warning mentions references to rape but no actual rape. Do you mean that someone is raped & you're not going to include the scene, or that it was mercifully interuppted?

I'm so sorry. Did not read your A/N here. SO THIS IS THE STORY. What happened to the original? Ahh, I've been looking for Brennan angst and found a few I read years ago, but cannot find the original version of this story. It's pissing me off. Ugh.

I remember this story, but the beginning was very different. Brennan was abducted and raped with several other people, but it wasn't in Albania. She was in the Mid-East and the bus she was on to an archaeological site got hijacked.

What an amazing story! I just loved it! I can't wait to read the sequel!

That was one hot scene at the end!

From the moment Angela mention taking Brennan to a club I literally said out loud while reading this chapter 'dumb dumb dumb idea' I know Angela was trying to get her mind off of things. But it doesn't take a genius or therapist to know that taking her to a club after the trauma she went through would in end very badly.

One of the best stories I 've read! Love it !

I have been waiting for your epilogue. I understand that it has become more than you bargained for but I hope you start posting soon. The story was magnificent and you are very talented. I'd love to read more of your work. Thanks in advance.

Oh. Wow. What an amazing roller coaster ride on such a hard topic.

In the middle of this, I wanted to tell you that this is getting wayy too melodramatic and all those misunderstandings are beginning to remind me of cheesy soaps that I usually detest. But that part got over soon and yes, I couldn't put the story down. That says a lot about your writing abilities and the way your characters seem so real.

I also read your PM in your profile and would really appreciate if the sequel (can't call it an epilogue any longer, can we?) as soon as you can?
