This fic is utterly fantastic!

The way you write the brothers feels so natural. I loved how you got into each and every one of their heads to explore their feeling, and their views of each other.

How each of them didn't approve of the others blaming themselves over what happened, but couldn't help but continue to harbor their own guilt anyway.

I loved the warmly supportive presense of April and Casey here. I especially loved your take on Casey, and his role as a bit of a big brother to the boys. The history with his dad that you revealed was a great touch as well.

As I said before in an earlier, regrettably shorter review, I love how you put a different spin on the 'Mikey's mind-controlled/brainwashed' concept. And I loved how you took the time exloring the aftermath of it as well.

How the brothers are forced to face the reality that things aren't working out, and they need to be completely honest with Mikey, and then how the wall came tumbling down anyway?...That was so heartwrenching to read!

I love how they came together to try and talk him through it, and how they all were ready on standby to stop him from fleeing the house if need be.

I'm glad they were able to get through to him, and prevented him from slipping back into a catatonic state like they were afraid may happen if/when the memories came flooding back.

The epilogue was wonderful too.

I thought you did a great job showcasing Mikey's struggles, frustrations, and fears over how he thought it could all go horrifically bad in an instant, and then put him in a situation that allowed him to be proven wrong. Giving him the little bit of hope he needed that he won't hurt his family again unintentionally, and that that he's going to be okay.
