starnerveshipper chapter 6 . 4/13 The chemistry and affection between Joy and Fear in this story was so well done. it made me so incredibly happy. As you can tell by my name, I totally 1000% ship them. I was absolutely thrilled to bits with the huge amounts of interesting and cute interactions between them in here *heart* there really aren't many authors who do that, so THANK YOU for fleshing out their relationship and giving them such an interesting and sweet dynamic! i hope you do more inside out stories one day, shipping aside, I think your writing is really great and creative and it was really enjoyable to read. |
Motleys Fanfics chapter 1 . 6/27/2018 Neatly written and well-done story. Quite an interesting read. Though I have a bone to pick with Chapter 2. In the part with Riley is vomiting, the paragraph in which it states that "as the console glowed bright green and the emotions stepped back away from it, they preferred not getting vomit all over their shoes (or, in Joy's case, feet)" seems to imply that all emotions throw up during this part. Although not soon after, it is said that only Disgust has thrown up. So, clarify: do all the emotions puke, or is it just Disgust who does? Other than that, great story! |
Lumiellie chapter 6 . 8/18/2017 Great job! |
CNBW chapter 6 . 12/8/2016 "Did I ever tell you you're my favorite noodle?" GAH! THAT LINE IS SO DARN CUTE! Awesome story. Really cute too. ;) |
Elletz chapter 6 . 8/7/2016 "Though what sort of emergency could possibly arise that would necessitate him to drive Riley without the console? He wouldn't dare to think about it." I practically LOST it right there; what if Riley perhaps got into a car accident one day, and wouldn't wake up? The console defiantly wouldn't work, so perhaps the only thing that would keep her alive would be Fear's own heartbeat? And all the other emotions were already unconscious? I'm kinda freaking out at your story here! Thanks for writing this! It gives me a new perspective on the movie. :) |
Rapunzella chapter 6 . 1/8/2016 This is the story I've been looking for! I love how you've portrayed each of the emotions––how you've taken the set-up from the movie, and then gone deeper to explore more possibilities. Wonderful, just wonderful! |
Guest chapter 6 . 1/1/2016 I enjoyed this, it was a very interesting read. |
goneacc chapter 6 . 12/2/2015 That was such a good story! I love how you can turn a simple premise into something complicated. Even the smallest problem is a big deal for the emotions. Appendicitis is one tiny problem that can get way out of hand, and you illustrate all of that really well in this story. I loved reading it, the whole thing was lovely and creative and there were some very funny and heartwarming moments all around, with Fear and Riley getting an important lesson out of it. This REALLY seems like something that ought to be an official short, I mean, it pretty much continues the experience of watching the movie with a new situation added in. And do I detect a hint of Starnerve? I loved all of Fear's interactions with Joy, and the close friendship you portrayed between them. That was great when she was still tipsy from the "Anastasia" (I lol'ed at that too) - "You're my favorite noodle" and her comparing him to a hummingbird were really adorable moments that made me smile :) Nice Finding Nemo reference too! |
Guest chapter 6 . 11/30/2015 I really love this fanfic. |
Toonnomic chapter 6 . 11/21/2015 Just so sweet! |
Harmony Avery chapter 1 . 11/20/2015 Harmony's vampire Sadness:Oh!(flies to Harmony's vampire Joy)Remember the funny Clannad movie where Nagisa dies and Ushio dies? |
Zentin chapter 3 . 11/20/2015 Believe it or not, the appendix is actually not a useless organ. The appendix is the digestive tract's restart button. Back before modern medicine became standard, things like dysentery and cholera severely affected the digestive system. These infections cleared out the good bacteria that the body uses to breakdown food. When one recovers from these illnesses, the appendix will release the bacteria stored within it. |
Extreme Light 9 chapter 6 . 11/20/2015 Yay! I'm thought something bad will happen to Riley and the Emotions, but I'm glad they're all okay now. Thanks for writing this wonderful story! :) |
Shychick chapter 6 . 11/19/2015 What a wonderful, feel-good story! Poor Fear- I felt so bad for him when the stress of suppressing his instincts got to him! I'm so glad he learned a valuable lesson, similar to the one Joy and Sadness learned from the movie! There is just so much to explore with Fear, because it- he- is such a complex and powerful emotion, and one which is really very misunderstood- like Sadness. It is the most crippling emotion, next to sadness, but very necessary at times. Joy was hilarious when she was recovering from the "Anastasia" (LOL). Hugging Fear, calling him a noodle... d'awww! And THANK YOU for the Starnerve fanservice! |
roxygoth chapter 6 . 11/19/2015 Sounds good. Loved this story, Roxy |
