Hi! I know it’s been a while since you updated this fic but I recently came across it since LOK is on Netflix and I’m bummed it was never finished! I hope you get back into it with the resurgence of ATLA and LOK since they’re now on Netflix. I really enjoyed the concept and would love to see how it plays out.

So far I am enjoying this story. I like Asami's perspective.I can't till the next one.

I read Double Helix and this already in one day and I can totally tell a difference, but I didn't think that Double Helix was bad at all. I do think this story has more organization and I hope you continue writing because I really think this story has major potential.

Love what your doing here with this story. I did read your first draft, Double Helix, and have defiantly found this to be a great improvement of organization, plot and word choice. However Double Helix was not as bad as you make it out to be in your comments at the end of these new recent chapters. I really found that those raw, quirky moments in Double Helix to be funny and found myself many a time, thinking, "that was perfect reinterpretation of the characters". Again i defiantly see and agree with your concerns of Double Helix but i believe that it most certainly has its strong points.
This is a great story! I love how you tie hints and sly comments that referring back to the LoK, keeping the readers reminded that this is not just about any one person, people or couple falling in love this is about Korra and Asami, their story in a new world, different circumstances. Also I'm very curious to see how you will play Lucy's role. In Double Helix I felt like on thing you did really well was putting suspense, anxiety and mystery on the whole scene where they found her, Korra left for a couple weeks without saying anything. Then cliff hanger... does Asami confront Korra? What was all that about? What major role did Lucy play in korra's past that was so...if not secret, then put on the Down Low?
I know you were planning on changing up a few things with this story, but i felt we almost lost a little of that suspense, and mystery with chapter 4 in "Of pleasant reams and vicious reality" when Lucy dos enter the scene, maybe you did not want her to play such a mysterious role in this remake. I love how your bringing in other character from different worlds, like Lucy, and Sasuke to name a few.
I just want to let you know that despite your time, and busy schedule, i really appreciate this story for what its worth. I hope you are doing well, and keeping yourself healthy and happy. You have talent, and great ideas. Dont stop writing, even if it takes a long while to put out the next chapter, take your time. Im looking forward. till next time.

Anyhoo...wonderful continuation to this revamped version of your older story. So glad that Korra got Naga back and that she likes Asami, that's very important for animals to like your significant others. Long time ago I had a good 'ol solid ginger cat (no white on him anywhere) named Jeep. I had a boyfriend at the time too, and Jeep consistently pooped in his shoes, after a time I realized why he crapped in his shoes, and I had to fight to temptation to do the same myself near the end.

I'm just jazzed you updated! I'm loving this story like you wouldn't believe. I'll put up with you as long as you will let me. :)

Okay, I'll do my best to answer things in order, haha.

1. Yasuko? Well, I think she's got some bad blood with Asami, that's for sure. It's sad to hear that after the Sato family gained so much wealth that she remained a bit stuck up, but it's nice to see that Asami hasn't turned out like her mother, which warms my heart. You would think that someone with a lot of money would be normally snobbish, but Asami is not like that at all. I think it's very considerate of her to give her mother money when she needs it, but I think that she should treat Asami better if she knows that Asami is kind enough to give her so much.

2. Mhm *nods head in approval*... I really like where the two are headed (hopefully!). I thought it was really cute that Korra kept on saying the most embarrassing things, so that you kinda know that she's into Asami. And I'm guessing Asami is feeling the same way? :o *crosses her fingers* I'd like to say she does, because she's always thinking of how cute and adorable Korra is, and how completely different she is from other people - which is a thing that Asami really loves, I think.

3. I think Asami is pretty cool. I mean, she's got all this money, and a secret penthouse up on top of her hotel... Come on, that's not something that everyone's got, huh? And then the way she treats people despite her background - that's something you don't see everyday either. If you've been implying that Korra and Asami are attracted to each other, I hope that Asami can get closer to Korra because I really would like to see them together sometime, haha... xD They'd totally be a perfect couple!
