It's great that you have decided to continue writing the story! The idea is very original and different from what's already out there.
Rosie is just so cute! She is such a sweet, confident and smart girl and how Alex treats her (or she treats Alex) is just wonderful! I think all the love and attention is really good for Alex.

And I also really liked how Rosie's parents watch Alex and slowly realize that something is wrong. Do they know that Alex is a foster child?

Well, anyway, I already love Alex's foster brothers Ryan, Ben and Felix! And that even though they only appeared for a short time. I hope they play an even bigger part in the story.
I'm definitely super excited to see how things will continue!

Loved this chapter! Tom and Alex's friendship is so interesting to me, and I think you've done a fun and unique job at capturing what it could be (because the books are kind of vague on Alex's relationships with other people lol). I also liked their conversation about Ian, and that they were both really misunderstanding what the other person wants and needs! I love the way you're portraying Tom a lot, and I hope that these boys can continue to be open with each other! And that Tom can stick around and learn just what happened to his best friend recently lol, I feel like that would be good for him to know!

Looking forward to the rest of the story, I like how Alex interacts with the street kids!
