I love this story so much, this is the third time I've read through it is think. not gonna lie, there's a part of me that would love to see a version of this where she joins the fellowship, maybe feeling that after what Sauron did to her she has to be a part of seeing him end.

Is the mysterious singer Maglor?

Maedhros! I wished he would finally return. So we've got him, Amrod and Amras returning to Aman?
Was it Caranthir the hunter found?
And Maglor, in the Woodland king's cell? And looks like those were Celegorm and Curufin, found by Thranduil's sis? These are my assumptions, and hoping he'll be let outta that cell! He's been through enough.

This has been... one word: catharsis. It has fast become one of my favorite Tolkien fan fictions and your talent has made it such an intriguing experience. The elegance, the tragedy, the redemption, the AU, the crossing over between Ages and lore... to me this was perfect and now I have the (I'm sure familiar) book blues or book hangover, when you've finished a book and are not quite sure what to do with yourself.

The meeting between Maeglin and Angrod was so satisfying!

Loved Eol's memories, and those two are one of my favorite Tolkien couples to explore. And then the encounter with his granddaughter... feelings are all over the place.
"I'm sure he is." Trolls were famed for stupidity. (epic line)

Arman and Narriel are just so nicely written together. Their moment was like kindling. To say I ship them would be an understatement.

I imagine this must be very hard for Galdor and Rog and this may complicate things if the young ones want to pursue something... knowing who the twins' mother is.

At least now they know, whew. Softens the blow a little bit, even if it's hard to accept. The cat's eye view! That was cool. I adored Aryo and the former Mole speaking. So very redeeming in a way, to see an intimate account of Maeglin from his first life from one of his men. And then the contrast between this and the lords' impressions of him...
I do feel sorry for that roast.

Maeglin and Ecthelion again... priceless! I am running out of praise words but that was so so very sweet. And Alasse with Turgon! Such a thread, such spinning! This story is amazing.

Ecthelion on a roof dropping eaves is just... priceless! I also adore the build up to a reunion with the Gondolindrim? Will we? Will we get one? I guess I'll find out.

Argh, exciting meeting between the cousins! I had been hoping to see this. It makes sense that Idril would be so abhorrent of Maeglin at first. It was great to read her new impression of her fallen cousin, and the baby kick was just the most heartwarming way to release the tension. Enjoyed every word.

Eol and Aredhel speaking was such a striking scene! One could feel the forgiveness but also his guilt and suffering. And Maglor with Arwen was so evocative (and strangely probable, heh?), considering his link with her father. Such a fulfilling read, to see signs of closure.

My eyes, my heart... beautiful bittersweet chapter. That Maeglin and Maglor scene was so beautiful. And now the twins know... *sigh* And then... *splash* lol Excellent

Beautiful conversations and you rounded some plot points very nicely here. There was pain but also beauty. To Valinor!
