Lovely job with the wedding ceremony...it seemed very realistic.

Yay! for Maester Cressen's appearance...he may be the one person who knows Stannis best, even better than Davos. He's certainly the closet thing to a father-figure Stannis has.

I am not surprised Petyr makes one last play for Sansa and she's right he wouldn't have lived to see the sunset if Stannis knew about it. What he says to her rings really true and I can imagine him saying those things. Something tells me he's not giving up, whether she's Stannis' queen or not.

Melisandre is SO creepy...I can never figure out just where she's coming from. I think she's eager for Sansa to marry Stannis and give him heirs because she needs that to make her prophecies come true. But I also think she's a little jealous of Sansa and the influence she has...and may come to have...on the king. Her tangling with Baelish was delicious in that I think both of them are using Stannis and Sansa to further their own agendas, so it's just a pissing contest between them over who's evil plots will win out.

Can't wait to find out the details surrounding Joffrey's death AND, of course, the much anticipated wedding night! Thanks for another great chapter!

I discovered your story 3 days ago and I could not stop ! I loved every chapter and the way Stannis became obsessed by Sansa and how Sansa fell for him ! I think that maybe Stannis would have done the same but maybe no love/caring/affection would have been possible on his side.
Sansa is made to be a sweet queen and she probably would have changed Stannis.
I was really sad to read about the loss of your mother and step father. I hope you are well and doing good while going through such a hard time.

If I had a dollar for every chapter the wedding's been delayed, I would be rich...well, maybe just a few dollars richer. :) With all the hype, it better be the occasion of the century. Great update, you really captured Cersei's paranoia after Joffrey's death as joyous as that occasion might have been for show fans. Hopefully the star-crossed couple can survive both the Lannisters and Littlefinger.

Sorry but Sansa is one dumb girl.! What makes her think that Stanis will spare her if she has girls and no son.? Remember when Septa Mordane was walking her through the throne room and teacching her.? Sansa asked if Joff and everyone would hate her if she only had girls ? Stannis let his wife die in agony to get rid of her because she had given hom no sons!

Excited for the wedding, and Baelish is definitely a loose cannon!
