maura uk chapter 3 . 9/29
I love this story...its so graph8c and visual. I think you have captured our cou0le so well...Sara would never let Grissom go again...anywhere without her...those days have gone and very hard lessons learned. .no i think as in csi ...she would give up everything for him. BECAUSE HE IS HER EVERYTHING..THANKS SO MUCH FOR WRITING THIS FOR WRITING GSR...JUST LOVE YOUR GSR STORIES.

This was a great story! This is the conversation I've been waiting for! Answers a lot of questions about post GSR Finale! Thanks for writing this!
Marie chapter 3 . 1/24/2017
Anthony Zuiker only managed to give GSR an open ending; your version is so much better. I would like to know what you plan to add to this great post-ep story. Grissom is getting a bit too old to keep his wandering life style. Please bring him home to Las Vegas. Let Sara be his anchor. If I ever again have to hear about what Lady Heather is up to, may God have mercy on me, let her go postal and be a real killer!

update soon
Guest chapter 3 . 10/11/2015
I think they both should get a job at the body farm and teach CSI newbies. They can stall in Vegas and get a new dog. This is a good chapter...it keeps the story flowing. Keep on writing.

Great chapter! Loved it!
gsrlover1 chapter 3 . 10/11/2015
I certainly wouldn't mind them in Vegas, or somewhere else permanently. I don't think it would work with Sara as a lab director. She's too intense and too willing to put herself in risky situations with too many "nuts." She works too many triple shifts and gets too emotional (by her own admission.) I'd have liked to see them both researching (not on a boat) or teaching together. I think they are at their best when together. They keep each other sane - sort of. Ha-ha. Waiting for the next installment.
Lily chapter 3 . 10/11/2015
Good fic...

I think what would work out best would be for them to travel the world instead of staying in Vegas..that way the don't fall in to bad habbits.. As well nothing makes you closer than living on a ship together there is little space so resolving any issues they would have would be imperative as there is no where to go really...

This is so beautifully written, you capture the essence of the characters perfectly, nothing is OOC, I love it!
ninthwardgurl05 chapter 3 . 10/11/2015
Great chapter! I was wondering throughout the finale where Their dog was?...also where Grissom's Mom was as well? Anyways, I know Grissom took all the blame for their non-communication over those few years, but Sara knows him..she could've extended the proverbial "olive branch" and called him.

She definitely had a part in their demise as husband and wife, it wasn't all Grissom's fault. I want them to continue to communicate and clear the air. I want to know why Jim and Gil never talked after the divorce, and during the finale (may not have time for that) but it would be nice to know how the others felt! I think they should stay in Vegas to be close to their family.

Thanks again for this chapter. More Please!
NANCY1 chapter 3 . 10/10/2015
So far, you've done great. The conversations they've already had are significant ones and clearly both of them seem committed to making their relationship work this time around - and, we now know that it will. The specter of Heather has been put to rest for Sara, and that relationship has long been a bone of contention between her and Grisssom, even though Grissom left CSI to be with Sara back in 2009. I think now Sara has the closure about Grissom and Heather that can also help her move forward.
TORCAN chapter 3 . 10/10/2015
Excellent job. Extremely well done. Open communication. Total honesty. They need to keep their promises because neither of them is a mind-reader. Let's hope they will take each other's emotional wellbeing into consideration this time around. Let's hope Grissom won't drop everything whenever LH crooks her little finger at him again. Let's hope they don't get lazy and simply stop trying to make their relationship work. Let's hope neither of them will allow their works -whatever they do- to consume them completely.

It was disappointing that CSI didn't address Phyllis Frelich's passing. Are we supposed to assume Mama Grissom still alive and kicking? How about Sara's mother, Laura?

Now, the question of staying in LV or going away. Sure it'd be lovely to have them going away to travel and see the world. But being a practical person that I am, I would think LV still is their best bet. Grissom is not getting any younger. When you are getting older, you're bound to have health problem. If Sara gets to be the Lab's Grave Shift Supervisor, then, she doesn't have to worry about Grissom's medical coverage! (What can I say. In Ontario, our OHIP is such an important part of our lives.) Grissom can charge the Lab an arm and leg if Ecklie wants to call consults on insect related cases. Why not let him teach locally? Why not let him do the seminar circuit? Why not let him stay home and write entomology text books? Or true crime stories based on the cases he had worked on over the years? I believe they can have their priority right.

Thanks for the update. Much appreciated.

Another really good chapter! I am very much in awe of your ability to pace these sorts of scenes perfectly. They're not rushing, but they certainly don't drag. Well done! Personally, I must admit I prefer the idea of Sara and Grissom staying in Vegas so Sara can run the lab, but it is your story. It's your call. Whatever you go for, I'm sure you'll do it brilliantly :D
