I just started reading DBZ fic again after over ten years since I last read one, and yours here is among the handful I find first - and I'm so glad. Excellent writing! Yamcha is such an underused character, and last I recall, people rarely gave him the recognition he deserves. I think you've captured his feelings well; he has every right to feel disbelief, anger, and sadness over Bulma given the past and who Vegeta used to be (not to mention the awkwardness). Watching Yamcha's opinion gradually change in this fic over the years was wonderful, and I adore the moments of tenderness between Vegeta and Bulma (too often people depict them as a perpetually angry, sex-obsessed couple) and their deeper understanding of one another - all seen through Yamcha's eyes. Well done!
