Tim and Lyla are always a more popular couple in the fanfic universe, but I've always considered Tim and Tyra a much better match. The one trip up is that I think Tyra really does want to escape small town life. Perhaps I could see them together if Tyra had some kind of job that required a lot of travelling and she was gone much of the time, and Tim kicked back at home with the kids.
