Guessing this ones never getting finished either. Read all of Rapey Lemons Blood Rose and then read this. Still disappointed that it still isn't what happened to Ruby. -_-
Its a good take on from Rapey Lemons Blood Rose. The grammar got much better but still not perfect. Were a few spelling errors and repeated words but didn't affect the storyline. I'll give it a recommendation for other readers but the fact that it was abandoned a few years ago now not many people would review and have it come back. Of course life goes on and it can't be helped. But it's still not a nice feeling of having no satisfaction on what's going to happen next in the story and what happened to Ruby for her to be so homicidal and psychotic. Unless I can find another fic that goes from this one or Rapey Lemons original one.
But enough said, still a good take on the original.

this was honestly really well done, the pasting was not to fast or to slow some parts i had to read twice to understand what was trying to be said but over all a nice chapter

I do love what you're trying to do with the story my friend, although it seems like you're giving it a bit of a more light-hearted feeling. Then again it's a good change from the almost pure angst Ruby had originally.

I have a question, that I hope isn't too bothersome. Will Ruby go back to Vale or will her old team find her in this new location?

Plus, she's more secretive about her bloodlust, especially around Maia. When she calls hunting "party time", it's kinda weird.

Okay, I read through all of Blood Rose and have to say, it's quite good! When it comes to the grammar mistakes, I won't lecture you, just get a Beta and they'll probably fix most of it up.

But I'm not afraid to leave a tip I think would help make this story feel more like it's "prequel".

It's just that Ruby seems a little... OOC in this. In the prequel there was a large emphasis on Ruby killing to satisfy her "hunger", which is also one of the reasons as to why she ate her victims when she killed them. It wasn't her killing because it gave her any large amount of pleasure, but because she had to or she would "starve".
In this, she seems to kill more because she takes pleasure in doing so, which isn't really the way I picture Ruby in this story.

Another problem is her being a bit embarrassed at the thought of Maia wanting to cuddle with her in chapter 1. Ruby shows next to no embarrassment when it comes to sexual acts in the original story, so it seems quite unlikely she would blush at the thought of sex.

Well, I must say it's nice to see the story be continued. I look forward to great things from you. In the event I find something a little too off, I'll let you know, and for a first ever fanfiction your doing surprisingly well at it.

Man I remember the original was the first RWBY fanfic I ever read. Really glad to see someone is continuing it. Rapey lemons really pioneered a lot of tropes and lore in the realm of RWBY fanfiction with Blood Rose.

Can I just say that I'm fucking happy that someone is taking over the story. And please keep up with it 'cause I like it :D
