Wait but wouldn't Lucius and Narcissa find out about Haley? Even if Draco never tells them himself, don't Pureblood families have those self updating magical Family Trees (like the one thats hanging on in #12 Grinmuald Place) that automatically records the birth of any child in the family? *lol* if the Malfoys have one of those, even though Ginny and Draco aren't married, wouldn't it be a matter of time before Haleys name, and possibly her picture, magically appears on the tree under Dracos name. *lol*

Wait 'when Harry made his STEPdaughter his daughter'? When did and Ginny have time to have stepkids? Or weren't they always married to each other and were involved with other people and had kids with other people before THEY got together? *lol*

Wait so WHY was the kid going to be sent to his grandparents house if EVERYBODY knew said grandparents DIDN'T want him and also knew the reason WHY the grandparents didn't want him? Why send him to people who already voiced their disagreement on the matter instead of putting him in an orphanage where a NICE family can come adopt him?

Love this story. But I can't see Ginny having a fling with Draco considering he's marked and all he's done to her family. Theodore, Blaise, Neville, sure, but Draco?

Please tell me why on EARTH this isn't updated in two years?! This is GORGEOUS! Please, please, write more!

"...the only thing the lasting scar they had..." looks a little odd. I think it should be one or the other, but if you want, a comma after thin and scar would at least make it more coherent.

And then, "...you made your godson as a son?" I don't believe you need that as, there.

Also, that thing about a stepdaughter. So needs more of an explanation because the only way he'd have one of those is if Ginny had a daughter before they married or something and I'd like to know about that some more.

Overall, this was really sweet. I like how Ginny recognizes this as a hang up from Harry's time wiht the Dursley's. The way, when it's pointed out to him, Harry reacts feels very natural. Ginny's assurance that it isn't bad and that she's okay with it were nice and the end, where he gets so excited about taking Caleb that he forgets to tell Ginny his name was fun and lightened things up very well.

Very sweet.
