Wow, I love this o: I feel like this is spot-on for Dearka. This guy definitely got a lot of character development in canon, and it's nice to see that development from inside his head xD

it's been a whlie since I really looked up canon history from before Kira entered the war, but I do remember being confused that Dearka was raised with radical views while his father was a moderate on the council, and none of the fanfics I read offered an explanation for that (and I also suck at politics and political terms). This is the first explanation I've seen for that, and it makes sense to me o:

I do remember reading something about how Dearka was wearing green due to actually getting demoted, not due to his own choice, but I don't remember if that was in a fanfic or if it was canon lol but I like how you portrayed his decision to wear green again, too :D
