Oh, I liked. Very different-at first I was expecting humor. Ususally inanimate object POVs are funny. But this was actually very wonderful.

Seeing that it was told from the POV of the coat, I was a bit speculative. But the story was very cool...a very interesting look at Eponine's death. Great idea!

In the vast realm of dubious Eponine fic, this was a refreshingly original perspective and more importantly, you made it interesting. It's been a long time since I was able to read an Ep fic through.

The only problem I ran into was your mention of the corpses 'freezing', the insurrection of 1832 took place in June and frozen corpses would have been unlikely. You might have meant rigor mortis, but I can't tell. :)

Brilliant take on such a trajic theatrical event. So many know the death of Eponine whether they have seen the play, musical, or read the book. This idea was inspired, and your word usage fit perfectly in all the right places. I will read more of your work.
