Very cute story. Loved the revelation and Sora's acceptance of Riku. Great oneshot and the bonus chapter was a nice way to bring more closure emotionally. Great work!

I LOVE Riku in this light. A lot of people have him do the "I'm cold and distance and bleeeeeh all the time" and I just don't think that's Riku at all. Its easy to MAKE him that way, but I like seeing him like this: just reserved, but outgoing for the ones he cares about. Imagining Riku take a selfie for Sora, it makes my happy heart burst. I love it!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS. Also, I was cracking up at the "owlishly" description, its so perfect. Stealing that word for my own vocabulary.

Words cannot describe how happy this made me. I literally can't even right now. It was just so cute and funny and sexy and just UGH. I loved it. I'm waiting for 3D to come out this year for PS4, so I haven't played it yet but I can barely wait. I seriously want a meow wow plush too! I see Sora and Riku drawn with it everywhere!

Okay, above all else, I need to comment on the following sentence: "“Sora…” Riku reached up for the brunette, and Sora acquiesced, because, hey, nightmares were scary and hugging a friend helped."

So, that is the most Sora sentence to have ever sentenced. So naive, a tad oblivious, completely innocent Sora logicalness. So great.

This has to be one of my favourite fics you've written this month. If I were Lauren, I'd be screaming OTP repeatedly in text (I'm doing it in my head, so that has to count for something?).

SO CUTE. I love the premise that Sora's snuck in to repair a childhood toy of Riku's. Because that's exactly the kind of gesture he'd do for a best friend.

The intimacy was hot, although I have to admit I'm glad Riku woke up, haha. Although, idk, a long piece where Riku got Sora off while completely asleep and then spending some time developing a plot where Sora was trying to figure out the associated feelings while Riku is completely unaware that he did it is also kind of appealing. But yeah, this worked well for a one-shot. Very, very well.

And normally I'm just inclined to eye roll when it comes to 'I love you' admissions that are so quick to come after a first intimate encounter, but I'm pretty amenable to it for this pairing, with the knowledge that they're long-time friends in this story. Because 'I love you' can be taken in quite a few contexts for these guys. And Sora is so open about sharing his thoughts, so it works. Riku may not've said anything on his own, but encouraged by Sora, it's totally believable that he'd quickly follow suit knowing there was no fear of rejection at that point.

asdfl;jadfsd, I loved every word of this, even the implication that Kairi already knew about their latent attraction to one another. So good. I am a happy SoRiku shipper today (and praying this motivates me to frickin' finish my own offering for tomorrow now, haha). 3
