Okay, just awwwwww! Legolas is a complete sweetheart in this fic and it's only the second chapter! And I really adore that he seems to like Elrond! Sometimes, when it comes to Elrond, it's easy to get caught up in his wise, stately manner and kinda overlook that he's more then Aragorn's foster-father and Elladan, Elrohir and Arwen's ada and a fountain of wisdom and advice and rock-steady guidance... that he's an elf who has lived a long, long time, who has lost much and sometimes those wounds still hurt. So, yeah, I liked reading this through his eyes and as he lets himself be just a little vulnerable when no one else is around. I'm starting to wonder if there suppressed attraction between Glorfindel and Thranduil in this fic, cuz I'm pretty sure there's somethin' going on there! Anyways, I hope you update sometime soon cuz I think this fic is a delight I already really like reading!

Your written style is really, really good, and the way your describe the setting and the characters makes them feel alive.

A fantastic start to a very promising tale. I loved the caustic glares and barbed vocab between Thranduil and Glorfindel. One can only wonder at the reason for it, I mean beyond the fact that the king is utterly insuffrable!

Best diplomatic meeting ever. 10/10 I believe I might stop laughing by the end of the half a year when the next chapter would hopefully come.
