Ahhhhhh oh my goodness I adore this story. I love the idea of Obi-Wan going off on his own to cause trouble for the empire in the most Jedi fashion there is. Also I'm a total sucker for stories where he accidentally ends up meeting his family, and your writing is so vivid and it flows beautifully. I hope you have a great day!

Not many people go into the birth families of the jedi - definitely an interesting concept.

Oh, what a lovely first chapter. I'm so glad I took the time to seek out your other Star Wars stories beyond the Reprise series.

So are you going to continue this one? I love your writing style and characterizations and I'm currently following your Reprise series, but this one's peaked my interest as well. Hope Welk is okay cuz I liked him. If you do continue this I'm very excited to see where you take it. :)

P.S. Possibly an equally weighty compliment... you are making me want to dust off an unfinished Star Wars fill-in-the-gap tale of my own. And I realize you don't know me so you have no way of knowing how big a deal that is... but trust me. When my fics die it's a grusome ordeal and the odds of anything reviving them ain't so hot. But I might just find a swiffer duster and take a look at that bad boy...

So I followed you here from AO3... AFTER spending some time poking around trying to find something decent to read. Which, as I'm sure you know, can end up being a fruitless quest that leaves you feeling frustrated and still "hungry". THE MOMENT I started reading this... I can only describe it as a feeling of RELAXING. At last! Here is something that will satisfy. That feeling is truest compliment or commentary that I can offer on your exceptional skill as a storyteller.

I do hope to see more of this in the future... but perhaps not at the expense of Reprise which I am hopelessly addicted to and squee when I see an alert in my inbox.
