I loved this, but I need the next story!

Only a one word nit to pick in an otherwise delightful piece: "Scarecrow" That is a workplace code name and ought not be how Amanda addresses Lee during pillow talk and intimacy. That is equivalent to Lee saying, "Goodnight, Mrs. King!"

Dum-da-dum-dum! Now the plot thickens with Uncle Bob sounding in on the diabolical Col. Jack & his "walking dead" cousin. Sure seems Tom Fellows outlived his usefulness once he brought Scarecrow to meet Sen. Moo. Fretting now because it's guaran-damn-teed that they'll make the discovery on that tropical island. Lee & Amanda won't have the romantic second - really their ONLY - honeymoon they need and deserve. At the rate they're going, they will have to adopt!

It's a treat to trip over S&MK episode titles in your story. "Bad Timing," "Weekend" & "Playing Possum" were here in Chapter 1. I recall you used "Unfinished Business" earlier in this "With or Without You" series and probably others I missed. A chapter of great conversations (Lee and Jamie plus Amanda and Joe were both well written and in keeping with their characters) and cruel trickery (Lee's dream).

I really love this but am disappointed that you left the story hanging. You are an awesome SMK storyteller. .sure wish you were still writing.

I like the relationship between Lee & Jamie. Nice flow to the conversation.

I just finished your stories, With or Without you, If looks could kill and Through a Glass, Darkly. WOW! I just could not believe when it was over that there isn't anymore. I hope it is coming soon. Such good stories. Couldn't put them down.

I have only discovered this exceptional trilogy in the last couple of days, and I wanted to let you know how thoroughly I enjoyed it. Your characterization is wonderful, and your concept of what might have happened after the end of the series is fascinating. Excellent plots, just the right touch of humor in all the right places, and very good development of both personal and professional relationships. Thank you so much for all the hard work that obviously went into these stories.

Once again, a compelling story, very well told. I enjoyed seeing the development of the various family relationships, and family bonds.

After I finished this fanfic, I can honestly say that this has been the best story I have ever read. Not just the beginning, middle, and the end, but everything in between. It was excellent written. Congratulations on this great job, and great story. Keep writting, you have quite a talent.

Whew! Good story again. You do have the characters fight an awful lot but you do resolve them. I can't wait for the sequel.
