They is no way any self respecting court would give any monetary compensation to the Weasley. This passage of your story is beyond ridiculous, The Weasley could have sue the Malfoy family but Harry ? It's honestly plain stupid, he is in no way responsible for Draco actions, he never forced Ginny to associate with him and following your own logic, it's easy to argue that it's Ron fault for being Harry's friend which allow Ginny and Harry to met. Same for the damage sustain by the Weasley property, Harry never forced them to hide him and they can't prove that the death eaters attack because of Harry and not because the Weasley were supporters of the light and even if they attack because of him he still isn't responsible for the death eaters actions. This part of your story was complety irrational.

As others pointed out, I don’t really see the Weasleys winning that lawsuit, but then again the wizarding world does lack common sense, so I suppose it could have been a likely outcome.

You know, the idea of Weasley winning the trial is so fucking ridiculous that it turns down the whole story quality.

Between the "blood traitors" label, "light family", Dumbledore sychophants.
I had imagined a second awarding money in other direction. Awarding Harry huge sums, saying if Harry had failed to vanquish Voldemort, it likely would have resulted in most, or entire Weasley family being put to death.
Perhaps leaving total of cross awards, to be in Harry's favor as just punishment for petty low brow harassment. With requirement if Harry agrees, to waive the rest of the "life saving" awards, in exchange for signed binding contracts, similar to restraining order & no contact, or schemes or attempt to interact with Harry in any way.

Shame Ginny didn't ask to be summoned to scold her family in court.

Weakest is the foundation pretty much built on looney behaviour, that essentially was bashing.
