reisova chapter 85 . 3/5 Very loooonnng story, beginning was much better. But thank you for your effort. |
Carole chapter 52 . 1/20 Martin has changed so much. Hardly a harsh word I miss his clever remarks. He’s an unreal husband. |
Anita Ford chapter 61 . 1/27/2019 Bert’s dying doesn’t bother me as much as Aunt Joan. I never understood why they did that when the doc had so few relatives. |
Lightanew16 chapter 85 . 9/13/2018 Enjoyed your story and the healthy progression of emotional healing and love. It was encouraging. Thank you. |
Chelsietx chapter 85 . 10/30/2017 What a wonderful journey you’ve gifted us! I’m a brand new Doc Martin fan and am currently watching season 8. I loved the progression of DM and LG’s relationship. Having him attend counseling and get his past put in perspective for him was such a crucial achievement. You really painted a vivid picture of their lives for us. I’m so glad you had them move to the farm and Ruth stayed in Portwenn. This is one of my best reads. Thank you! |
kfatica chapter 79 . 11/5/2016 I've been reading this story everyday for a week. I apologize for not leaving a review before now, but I've just been enjoying myself too much to stop. I am a huge DM fan, and I very much like how you have developed the story and the characters. Even though I prefer Pauline to Morwenna, was crushed by Bert's sudden death, and like the Ruth/Al B&B, your version of events is really superb. I love giving Joan the chance to see the baby, and the notion of Louisa being raised by the village is truly heartwarming. I am so saddened by the fact that DM is coming to an end. I don't even want to know what nightmare derivative American tv will create. Thanks for sharing your creativity. |
P Barnes chapter 85 . 10/22/2016 Good story |
Apl9662 chapter 85 . 8/20/2016 The end of the story.. Nice summary of what will come in their lives. There are however, a few things that disappoint me a little bit. 1) Louisa worked so hard to turn the farm into their dream house, so I'd expect to get a chapter describing Martin's contentment about the work done, giving her some compliments. The way that part is wrapped up, doesn't give Louisa the credits she deserves. 2) The subject of Louisa suffering from breast cancer is in my opinion far too delicate and emotional to be described in 4 lines. Besides, this also seems to be based on someone else's story (like a few other things I've seen in other chapters). To finish the review with something positive: I really loved how Martin and Louisa intereacted with eachother and with the baby. Proofs of real love for each other, well done. |
Apl9662 chapter 84 . 8/19/2016 Sweet of Martin to generously accept to give away Morwenna and to offer her a dress, flowers and pay for the wedding dinner as well. |
Apl9662 chapter 83 . 8/19/2016 Good to see that Martin's Midas touch is back! |
Apl9662 chapter 82 . 8/19/2016 Another person helped thanks to Martin. I would think that he would go back once to the boy and assure that he would really get the professional help though. It appears to me that ke0212's story inspired you to make Martin suggest that Louisa would be perfect for the more social part of the job, am I right? |
Maria SA chapter 85 . 8/12/2016 THIS was AMAZING...I loved EVERY single word, sentence, chapter! Thank you for giving me this wonderfull story of DM and LG...whenever I look at the TV series...I will forever think of the roads you took with this compelling story...it made me wish that I too could be such a GREAT writer like you...but it seems I am JUST a GREAT reader! once again - Thank you for making my FAVOURITE TV series MORE! don't STOP writing - you are amazing! Lots of Love from RSA! |
Boots1980 chapter 85 . 8/11/2016 This is the type of happy ending easy to foresee for Louisa and Martin, particularly the latter's return to surgery. You deftly created new interests for Louisa and Ruth that they may have not considered without Martin's support. |
Boots1980 chapter 84 . 8/11/2016 The relationship between Martin and Morwenna has been very simpatico, and his generosity reflects his care or her and Al. |
cburnette chapter 85 . 8/9/2016 Thank you so much for your wonderful story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading every chapter. |
