Idk how I haven't come across this earlier! I read it all in one go. The USB port is like genius, I love how Mattie cares for Leo, love/hate how Oberlin calls Leo it, and the fact he can transfer into a synth? Omg.

Also, I read this before going to bed, wanting to think on my review, and I won't tell you the whole dream, but at one point I was trapped in this room with Post Malone, my best friend, and this other guy Idk who, and twice a voice came from outside the door told me "it's time" when it was time to eat and "it's almost time for you to come upstairs" but I woke up before we went upstairs, and the voice was exactly how I imagined Wynken to be. So your story made a significant impact on me lol

What a fun read. It's been a while so I'm guessing real life is taking up all your energy, but this story is so well paced and well written, it's not flowery, but imaginative writing. Well placed adjectives - not just random embellishment or anything, but used to give real descriptions of people, and stuff that's going on. So I just had to leave some quick feedback.

I love how you capture the atmosphere and the characters with your descriptions. I know, I'm not being very concrete here, sorry. But it's been a blast reading this so I'm basically here to say thanks.

Pretty sure lots of people read your story and love because it feels so naural and rot out of the Humans universe, but not enough people get on to say so, so here I am.

Just searched for Humans stories and came across yours. Love how "honest" it is.

You capture Leo so well, not glossing over how he sometimes almost looks deranged and so unkempt. Yet also vulnerable. How he's so skinny and determined and at the same time so lost and I loved the part about how it's surprising he's survived against the world for so long.

And how Mattie isn't at all grossed out by him, just seems to be deeply feeling for him.

Also, love that Laura is there.

I just watched all of humans season 2. Online after seeing 1st epp I was like screw this then found them all.

I love love love Leo. Mostly because of merlin but the facalhair makes him pretty darn sex to me.

It has so many twists and turns, and the relationship between Leo has truly been captured. Well done, it feels like im reading a episode of Humans. Please finish this story :)

This is a great start to the story. Exciting, intriguing and mysterious. Good clear, crisp writing and charactisation. I especially liked the comparison between Mattie's clear headedness and Leo's increasing confusion.
