This was heartbreaking in so many ways. How Izayoi imagined a little family with Touga but never did beyond Inuyasha. That she loved Inuyasha so much knowing how the world would view him.

And to your note about getting pregnant. We have to factor in the virility of youkai sperm. Human sperm could live in the female reproductive system for up to 5 days. So imagine if it's youkai sperm... I'd probably be more surprised if Izayoi didn't get pregnant if they have that much sex hahahaa.

Rarely do I come across an exceptionally well done story about inuyasha’s parents. By the end of this, I was full on CRYING. Masterfully done, following well within the bounds of what I would consider “canon” (if you care about that sort of thing). I can’t wait to read this over and over again.

Seriously. I've searched for decent fics like this one dedicated to just this pairing for quite a long while. Seeing how long I've been into Inuyasha (since way back when the series began more than a decade ago), I'm shocked that I couldn't find something like this sooner. I discovered this gem by chance, but boy did it take me for an emotional ride! I can't seriously explain how much I loved this. I'll be rereading in the near future too.

I want to write a long winded review about how much I loved it, but I don't think that's necessary. I couldn't stop reading until I got to the end, and now, I've accepted this fic as a possible head-cannon!
