Please, please continue. This is such a great story, probably one of the best stories I've read in this fandom. This story deserves to be finished!

Amazing story so far! Definitely feels like a real Ninjago episode, and not many writers can do that. And as for the Lego Ninjago Movie, I think its gonna be great! I may give an opinion/commentary on it later on, hopefully when we get that new trailer we've been promised this week.

*sigh* It's so hard to find good Garmadon and Lloyd stories nowadays, but I'm very glad to finally find one!

No worries, you spelled Ouroboros just fine.

There are too few good stories out there with Lord Garmadon in it. I'm especially fond of stories with well worked out interactions between Garmadon and Misako and/or Garmadon and Lloyd.

You made a good beginning here, and a most interesting divergence of canon by having it so early. I was just wondering, watching the series I came to the conclusion the prophesy of the green ninja defeating evil was actually not about Lloyd and Garmadon fighting each other as good versus evil, but rather Lloyd and the Overlord fighting each other as good versus evil. Because when you get right down to it Garmadon was never actually willing to fight his son, never really being able to bring himself to do so, no matter how much he pretended to having accepted that as their destiny. When Misako stole his helmet and he chased after them, and Lloyd then shot him out of that mech he was 'driving' in, he got wounded, but then as soon as he got out of the rubble and faced Lloyd he sort of froze and just stood there, waiting for Lloyd to strike without lifting a finger in his own defence... and there were plenty of other times since finding out Lloyd was the green ninja he avoided confrontation or just didn't attack. Such as after the race; instead of taking up Lloyd on the challenge and taking the bounty back he simply leaves with the serpentine. It took the Overlord taking possession of his body and transforming it for the fight to take place.

So I'm really curious as to where you're going to take your alternative plot. I'm very curious as to what more you'll have the venom of the great devourer do to Garmadon, as if it didn't do enough by forcing him to be evil...

So, please keep writing, you've gotten me intrigued.

I really like the way you describe the scenery-it's relatively simple, but it really adds to the story.

Not to mention you write Lloyd and Garmadon very well. I could see everything in chapter 1 happening!

Haha; I feel like it takes only a small measure of embitteredness to dislike Lloyd. Liking him requires acknowledging that he is inevitably, prophecies be darned, the weakest link - and yet being okay with that. Somehow his teammates seem to take that view. XD

Ahh, so we have an earlier revelation brewing here! Garmy's gonna flip. And very nice desert scenery!
Quick note, I'm not sure "declined" is the word there; "inclined" would definitely work, though. :)
