Oh, thanks so much for contributing to the Sam/Mike fandom! There's not enough of them out there! Honestly, whatever I thought and felt at the start of the game... After the game, I was a 100% Sam/Mike and Jess/Matt, more than anything else! Love it

Oh wow you captured it perfectly. I know Jess is very imp to Mike but the bond that developed from trusting each other with their lives very literally between Sam and Mike is bound to bring them closer to each other than with anyone else. I personally want them to have a happy ending.

I LOVE how subtle this is. Mike doesn't stop caring about Jess, but they still drift apart. I especially liked the dancing at the wedding, how Mike starts with Jess, dances with a few others (yay for Chris too!) but ends up with Sam. And at the end, how Mike and Sam aren't being overtly flirtatious, but the chemistry between them is still so obvious. Jess seems to handle this (relatively) well, even though she must be heartbroken. Overall, I really like how you didn't resort to anything overly dramatic. This fic just has a nice little bittersweet hum to it.

This is really cute! They're my favorite characters so, 'Daring duo' is definitely my otp, too bad there aren't a lot of works about it yet.n

That was so good! I hope you write more Sam x Mike fanfics, I saw so much potential between them during the game but there are not nearly enough fics about them out there.

This was beautifully written. I did love how you included Jess and did not throw her away outright. I can feel the beginning angst, the start to heartbreak.

I don't think Jess is obtuse. Each character filled their trope roles, but the writers were amazing to give us hints of complexities and that not each character is entirely what they seem.

Jess even said she thought Mike was one way...and he is a jerky character until he filled the hero role.

So, I would love to see what further emotions you bring, but I likely will not read past the first chapter if you do post more.

I am not a fan of the Mike Sam pairing, but they certainly worked well and did what they could to make sure everyone survived. I can appreciate how the bonds were created and tested. We all have our standpoints.

I liked how I think the group might have become closer as friends, but things aren't black and white. A lot of dirty laundry came out in the game, so I imagine healing, fights and the like will occur before some people can be in the same room together.

I hope you continue to grow as a writer and wish you the best.

I really, really, really liked this. Short, beginning chapters and just short stories like this are okay with me, especially since yours was done tastefully. I could really see this happening. It's not Mike's, Sam's, or even Jessica's fault that things are now playing out differently. Mike thought Jess was dead the entire night and he grew closer to Sam naturally, since they both played hero.

Also, there's a great chance that Sam recovered from the trauma better than Jess; therefore, making Sam easier to talk to. I could see Jess slowly shutting down from all of the chaos.

Okay so first of all I'm so so so glad other people see the chemistry between Mike and Sam. Their story in the game is one of the most interesting, with the way they start out not very close, and then end up being closer than a lot of the other pairings. So I'm always happy when others see it.

I really enjoyed this. It was very believable, very easy for me to imagine actually being canon, and I really like it.

Great to have another mikeXsam shipper in the fandom:) I love that you are writting this. But i think that you should work on chapter length, since it is hard to maintain readers of a just starting fic whitout large chapters.
By the way, did sam and mike hook up? Or they just falling for eachother.
