I swear anything involving Shirou's/Archer's story always gets me. One of my favorite character journeys in anime. Very nicely done. I loved Shirou/Archer challenging 'himself' again, to keep walking.

Yes, I am definitely liking this. Short, sweet and meaningful, you nailed it all.
Sure, your writing could be a bit better, some sentences are delivered pretty bumpy and the repeated usage of the same start to a sentence broke the reading flow a little, but there was nothing major wrong with this arguably pretty cool one-shot.

You could maybe let a Beta reader look over it again, so that at least a none native english speaker like me doesn't notice these flaws anymore, then you are off the hook so to say.
